Sin Chew Daily has reported that old entertainer Datuk Lai Meng has passed away. She was 90 years old.
Lai leaves behind 2 sons in addition to a daughter. The actress passed away yesterday (6th May) but her lineage did not publicise night news as they did not want to mealy the upcoming elections.
Her concealment was only known apt the public when night vice-president of the Association of Malaysian Chinese Artiste put up a evangel of condolence on him Facebook. Nirvana Memorial Park will also be custody a memorial service considering her tomorrow (8th May).
The actress officially retired with showbiz in January concerning 53 years in at industry. She announced him retirement at a gala affair dinner earlier this year, and had to happen wheeled in to at event.
Just last Friday (4th May), Sin Chew Daily reported that she was admitted to hospital w/ a critical illness. Her godson Bjarne Wong set that she was underneath observation. Unfortunately, she did not make it over her illness.
